Multiple sclerosis (MS) affects nerves in the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of symptoms including problems with muscle movement, balance and vision.
At St George’s we offer a range of specialist clinics and treatments for people with MS, and a diagnostic service for people with suspected MS.
Our services include symptom management, treatment for relapses, disease modifying medicines, rehabilitation, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and end-of-life care.
Our MS team works with GPs and community nursing and therapy teams as well to help people with MS to manage their condition outside of hospital.
