The Friends of St George’s Hospital

The Friends have been a part of St George’s Hospital for more than 60 years, first at the old hospital site in Hyde Park Corner and now in Tooting.

The Friends’ aim has hardly changed in all that time – to help and support both patients and staff.  Any department can apply for funding and the Friends Trustees will consider anything from a piece of life saving equipment to some paint for a children’s play area.

The Friends have a shop on the ground floor of Lanesborough Wing, and run two trolley services, one supplying refreshments to people waiting in outpatients clinics and another on the wards.

They are always on the look out for more people to help with the trolley services, so if you would like to get involved please get in touch.
