County Air Ambulance Trust

The County Air Ambulance Trust has been running since 1993, and has been helping save lives through funding air ambulance services across the UK. They currently organise and co-ordinate the HELP Appeal.

The HELP Appeal (Helicopter Emergency Landing Pads) helps raise money for the much needed new helipads at major hospitals, including St George’s Hospital, around the United Kingdom. Air Ambulances can make a crucial difference in a medical emergency, the first hour after any incident is critical. Helicopters provide a faster deliverance of the patient to the emergency department than by ambulance which could be the difference between life and death.
