Eating well after cancer treatment has finished
On this page:
Eating well after cancer treatment can play an important role in your recovery, helping to rebuild strength, support your immune system, improve energy levels, and maintain a healthy weight. Many people find that their appetite, taste, digestion, and eating habits change during or after treatment. These changes can take time to improve, and everyone’s experience will be different.
There is not a “cancer recovery diet”. The best approach is usually to aim for a balanced, varied diet that provides your body with the nutrients it needs while being realistic about any ongoing symptoms or challenges you may be experiencing.
