When cancer treatment finishes
On this page:
Finishing cancer treatment is an important milestone. Many people expect to feel relived, but it is common to experience a mix of emotions and uncertainty. Adjusting to life after treatment can take time and everyone’s experience is different.
Living with and beyond cancer focusses on helping you regain confidence, stay as well as possible and access support for any challenges or long term consequences of cancer you may experience.
This section provides information to help you find your way forward and navigate life beyond cancer at a pace that feels right for you. Please try not to rush yourself or expect too much of yourself too soon, recovery is a gradual process and you may feel better on some days than others.
