Many people tell us that they feel less able to be active when they are having cancer treatment. Treatment can affect your strength, fitness and energy levels, leaving you feeling a bit weaker and more tired. Gradually building up your activity levels can be helpful to rebuild your strength, help you to feel less tired and more confident.

It is important that you listen to your body and build up your activity levels gradually as doing too much too soon can make you feel more tired.

Be kind to yourself and try not to compare your current abilities with what you could do before your cancer treatment.
