The Delivery Suite is located on 1st floor of the Lanesborough Wing. On arrival, you may be requested to wait in the waiting area. Then you will be assessed by a Midwife (Triage). There are 2 triage rooms for assessing that labour has started. If you are assessed to be in labour, you will be transferred to a delivery room by a midwife.

The delivery suite has 14 rooms (all single occupancy)

  • Forget Me Not Suite (For bereaved women, their partners and family)
  • 2 Operating theatres
  • 4 bedded shared bay

There is access to birthing aides to support alternative positions in labour and normal birth.

  • Gym balls
  • Mats
  • You are welcome to bring in your own pillow, some LED fairy lights, artificial candles (no real candles please), an aromatherapy diffuser and music to create a calm relaxed environment.
