Delivery Suite

The Delivery Suite is located on 1st floor of the Lanesborough Wing. On arrival, you may be requested to wait in the waiting area. Then you will be assessed by a Midwife (Triage). There are 2 triage rooms for assessing that labour has started. If you are assessed to be in labour, you will be transferred to a delivery room by a midwife.
The delivery suite has 14 rooms (all single occupancy)

- 2 Operating theatres
- 4 bedded shared bay
There is access to birthing aides to support alternative positions in labour and normal birth.
- Gym balls
- Mats
- You are welcome to bring in your own pillow, some LED fairy lights, artificial candles (no real candles please), an aromatherapy diffuser and music to create a calm relaxed environment.
