Who are the Emergency Department Collaborative Research Group (EDCRG)?

We are a research group based in the emergency department at St George’s who conduct a wide range of research with the aim of finding better care and treatments for patients and families in the ED.

What is Patient and Public Involvement?

Patient and public involvement is the active collaboration between patients and carers and researchers to shape research and services.

The purpose of our PPI group is to ensure that our research is relevant, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of our diverse patient population. We hope to work with our PPI partners to create new, relevant research ideas for the Emergency Department, and to ensure our research is easy to understand and relevant to patients.
