Professional profile
Dr Patel qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2004 with MBBS and BSc(Neuroscience).
She worked in various district general hospitals prior to passing the MRCP in 2007 when she joined St George’s University of London for her research into Cerebral Small Vessel disease and cognition.
After her MD(Res) she started her neurology training at St George’s Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She has also completed specialist training in stroke at St George’s Hospital. She has been a dual certified Consultant Neurologist at St George's with a special interest in Stroke since June 2015.
