Professional profile
Adam graduated from University College London in 2003 and won the Bernard Hart Psychiatry Award as an undergraduate. However, he shunned the psychiatry couch in favour of a laryngoscope and Tuohy needle and trained in anaesthetics. He has gradually worked his way anticlockwise around London since, working in North Central London, Northwest London and West London since. Adam was Head and Neck Fellow at Norwick Park Hospital and completed registrar training at the Imperial School of Anaestheisa with training in Obstetric Anaesthesia at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital. Since becoming a consultant at St George's in 2013, Adam has been Induction Lead, Obstetric Anaesthestic Lead and is now College Tutor for the higher anaesthetic trainees.
