Virtual Reality session for Medical Students

The City St Georges University Medical Education team at St George’s Hospital has recently launched a VR theatre experience for 40 first-year medical students, centred on a ureteric stone management procedure performed by Miss Sussanah La Touche, Urology Consultant. We are grateful for her expertise and the vital support of our coordinator, Mr. Kyle Moore, who ensured the VR stations ran seamlessly. This in-house XR initiative developed by Mr Mayowa Ojofeitimi, CTF bridges the gap between classroom and scrub room, modernising medical education through high-fidelity, patient-centred training.
