Amyand Ward is a 28 bedded Short Stay Medical ward and is part of the Acute Medicine Department. The ward accommodates patients triaged from A&E and Richmond AMU.

Amyand Ward also has a Gastroenterology and Liver Day Unit (GALDU) located in E-Bay for outpatient ascitic drainage, infusions and follow-ups with Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Nutrition Nurses to help prevent hospital admission.
