A cancer diagnosis may impact on your financial situation, there may be additional costs such as transport and parking, in combination with the possibility of not being able to work as you did before the diagnosis. You can find financial and welfare support by clicking on the following links.

These professionals will be able to help guide you to sources of support with understanding benefits, grants that you may be eligible for, and advise on matters including pensions, energy bills and insurance advice, to help you stay more in control of your finances.

 South West London Macmillan Advice Service

The South West London Macmillan benefits project is a partnership between Macmillan cancer support and Citizens Advice Wandsworth and Croydon macmillan-citizens-advice-mone.

This service offers free and confidential advice to people living with cancer to help them understand what support is available to help them pay their bills or meet the additional expenses they may experience. They also support with understanding eligibility and completing applications for charitable grants and benefits.

You can contact the service by calling the helpline 0207 042 0332 (Monday – Friday, 09:30 – 17:00)
