Hepatology Consultant

Mussarat Rahim joined St George’s Hospital as a consultant
hepatologist in 2024. After completing her training, she
undertook her research in pregnancy related liver conditions at
King’s College Hospital. Whilst performing her research there,
she gained further specialist experience, including weekly
autoimmune hepatitis clinics. She has also published on topics
pertaining to autoimmune liver diseases. She is education Lead
for the department, and is the liaison between the Hepatology
department and the Obstetric Unit at St George’s Hospital. She
has a weekly clinic at St Helier’s Hospital.
