Professional profile
Mr Masha Singh works as an NHS Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon specialising in the advanced management of skin cancer. He works as a full time substantive consultant at St George's Hospital, London and provides plastic surgery services at Croydon University Hospital also.
He completed his medical degree (MB BS) alongside a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Biochemistry and Immunology at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, in 2006. He later completed his plastic surgery specialist training in London and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, joining the GMC Specialist Register. He undertook his fellowship at the prestigious Royal Marsden Hospital, London, specialising in the management of cancer. Mr Singh also holds a post graduate Master’s degree in Surgical Science at Imperial College London, awarded with Distinction.
Mr Singh is passionate about the management of skin cancer and attends both specialist and local skin MDTs (Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings). He works as part of a team and is supported by excellent Dermatologists, Oncologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Nurse Practitioners as well as other allied health professionals.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Singh has authored numerous original articles and book chapters. He has presented his original research Internationally forming new collaborations and working groups. He has presented at highly regarded scientific meetings such as the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) on many occasions and continues his passion for research and innovation.
