Mr Martin is a consultant neurosurgeon with a wide general neurosurgical practice. His special interests include neuro-oncology, including pituitary and skull base surgery.
Professional profile
Mr Martin qualified with honours from St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1991. He trained in neurosurgery in London and was appointed a consultant at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2003.
He has an active role in neurosurgical education and is the South Thames neurosurgical training programme director, a member of the neurosurgical SAC and an examiner in neurosurgery for the Intercollegiate Board.‘Mr Martin is a consultant neurosurgeon with a specialist practice in all aspects of adult brain tumour surgery including awake craniotomy, pituitary surgery, and anterior and lateral skull base surgery including vestibular Schwannoma (acoustic neuroma). He has regular joint operating lists with his ENT / skull base colleagues Mr Parag Patel and Miss Sarah Little.’
