Dr Dasan specialises in the urgent and emergency care of patients in the ED with a particular focus on Culture and Quality Improvement.
Professional profile
Dr Dasan qualified from UMDS Guy's and St Thomas' in 1993 and completed his specialist training in Emergency Medicine in South West London and Surrey. He also completed postgraduate studies in Cardiff.
He was appointed Consultant in Emergency Medicine in 2003 and after several years based in Sussex and Surrey was appointed to St George's in 2011. A further period of Pre-Hospital Care in Essex and Hertfordshire followed in 2015.
Dr Dasan has an interest in staff welfare and was appointed as St George's Guardian of Safe Working from 2016-2018 and Chair of the Sustainable Working Practices Committee of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) from 2018 - 2021. He is now a Clinical Educator in the Emergency Department (CEED) and EMSAS & CESR Lead.
Dr Dasan also served as Caretaker Clinical Director for St George's Emergency Department and Queen Mary's Minor Injuries Unit from 2018 - 2019 and served as a Champion within the Culture Change Programme at the Trust from 2020 - 2023.
