Dr Sarah Howie

Consultant Physician in General and Senior Health Medicine

Dr Sarah Howie is a consultant physician in general and senior health medicine with a special interest in peri-operative medicine. She works across the general medicine and senior health departments and leads the POPS service for vascular surgery (Peri-operative medicine for the Older Person undergoing Surgery).

Sarah runs a pre-operative clinic which provides holistic assessments that help the surgical teams assess suitability for vascular operations and identifies areas for optimisation before vascular surgery. She also provides inpatient medical care for vascular patients.
