Professional Profile

Dr Shribman is a consultant neurologist at the Atkinson Morley Regional Neuroscience Centre (St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) and the Charles Dent Metabolic Unit (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust). He has clinics at St George’s Hospital, Queen Mary’s Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and University College London Medical School. He trained in neurology at the Atkinson Morley Regional Neuroscience Centre, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Royal London Hospital and undertook a Clinical Research Training Fellowship at the UCL Institute of Neurology.  He has masters degrees in Pharmacology and Neurometabolism and Cell Biology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Neurology.

Clinical Interest

His clinical interests include acute and general neurology, movement disorders, stroke medicine and neurometabolic disorders. He has published a large number of peer reviewed articles in medical journals and been awarded national and international awards for clinical research.

He is Chair of the South West London and Surrey Parkinson’s Disease network and Data Lead for the Southwest London and Surrey Neuroscience Network.
