Dr Nirav Patel
Consultant Radiologist, Co-lead for Radiology Research Delivery and Lead for GI/HPB imaging

Dr Nirav Patel is a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in GI/HPB and cancer imaging. He has been a consultant at St Georges Hospital since 2017, having previously undergone radiology training in Southampton and Basingstoke.
He is currently lead for GI/HPB imaging and co-lead for radiology research delivery. He is an active interest in radiology training, acting as a supervisor for senior GI radiology trainees.
He is currently a principal investigator to 2 clinical trials locally, AMULET and METEOR. He has active research interests in HCC screening, rectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
