Dr Garner graduated from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1998 before completing specialist training with the Imperial School of Anaesthesia.
She completed a fellowship at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery before joining the neuro-intensive care team at St George's Hospital in 2007.
