Miles Scott steps down as St George’s Chief Executive Officer
Miles Scott will be stepping down from his role as Chief Executive Officer in order to take up a secondment to NHS Improvement where he will take a senior role leading national priorities.
Miles has been Chief Executive Officer of the Trust for nearly five years and during this time has achieved substantial progress for the trust including achieving an overall Good rating in the 2014 CQC inspection and the achievement of Foundation Trust status.
Sir David Henshaw, who took over as St George’s Chair in March, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Miles for his valuable contribution to the Trust and to wish him every success in his new role. “
Miles Scott said: “I have been very privileged to be CEO of St George’s and I wish the organisation and all of the staff every success for the future”
St George’s is also pleased to announce that Dr Paula Vasco-Knight CBE will be acting Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. In addition, we are also pleased to announce that Professor Andrew Rhodes has been appointed Interim Deputy Medical Director to support Professor Simon Mackenzie in his role of Medical Director of the Trust.
