The Neonatal Unit team at St George’s has become the first in London to receive the prestigious UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative Gold Award.
St George’s is one of a handful of neonatal units in the country to achieve this accolade, reflecting the team’s ongoing commitment to providing outstanding care for babies and their families.
Assessors praised the unit for its unwavering dedication to supporting families and ensuring the highest standards of neonatal care are sustained across the service.
The Gold Award, the highest level of accreditation available, recognises services that not only meet Baby Friendly standards but have successfully embedded them into everyday practice.
