Our Strategy 2019-2024

Outstanding Care, Every Time: Developing a strategy for the future – 2019-2024

We want to provide Outstanding Care, Every Time for our patients.

Central to how we deliver this ambition will be a strategy that sets out a five year vision for the services we provide to our local communities, and the specialist services we provide for the wider population.

Our Trust Board has agreed a roadmap for developing a new strategy for the organisation by March 2019.

A new strategy for 2019-24 will focus our energies, and give clarity on the type of organisation we want to be and what our priorities are – so we can ensure everybody is working together to achieve them.

The way healthcare is being delivered – both locally and nationally – is changing; and we also need to change the way we work as a result.

The strategy will take account of a number of external factors including the health needs of a changing local demographic, the South West London Health and Care Partnership plans, and expected changes and innovations in clinical practice.

We will use this section of the website to keep you updated with progress and details of how you can get involved.

The future of St George’s (2019-2024) – last chance to give your views

The development of our new clinical strategy is now well underway. Once agreed in March 2019, it will drive everything we do – from the range of services we provide, to how we invest our resources.

We’ve been asking our staff and the local community to help us develop the strategy, and since the summer we’ve held two rounds of workshops to hear what people think.

The next and final round of public sessions will take place during February. At each session, attendees will be asked their views on the future of a particular service that matters to them.

Please let us know if you plan to attend a workshop by emailing strategy@stgeorges.nhs.uk. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Light refreshments will be provided.

If you are unable to make a session, you can use the survey here to give us your views.

We are also working closely with our clinical leads to complete a detailed analysis of each service.

If you need any more information, and to book your place, email: strategy@stgeorges.nhs.uk
