Thomas Young Ward – Acute Stroke Unit
The Acute Stroke Unit has 16 beds located on Thomas Young Ward. The Stroke Unit provides ongoing stroke rehabilitation for patients local to St George’s Hospital.
You will be looked after by a multidisciplinary team of professionals such as nurses, therapists and doctors who are highly experienced in caring for patients needing acute stroke rehabilitation.
The ward also houses the Wolfson Acute Neurorehabilitation Unit
Children visiting should be discussed with Ward Manager or Matron.
