Gwilliam Ward

Gwillim ward is located on the 4th floor of Lanesborough wing. This 32 bedded ward area supports postnatal care 24 hours a day. The ward provides the following services:

• A dedicated team of Midwives, Health Care Assistants, Midwifery Support Workers, Neonatal and Obstetric Doctors, Nursery Nurses and Breastfeeding Volunteers
• Examination of newborn babies within 72 hours of birth
• A newborn hearing screening team
• Pre and post operative care for elective caesarean sections
• A Transitional Care service
• A parent room
• Weekend security provision

From 3 June 2024 visiting hrs will be extended to 2-7pm.
