About the Rose Centre

The Rose Centre is the state-of-the-art breast diagnostic unit. It was officially opened by the Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Jane Cooper.

The Rose Centre provides modern, high-quality services for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and other breast diseases. The unit is also home to South West London Breast Screening Service and St George’s National Breast Screening Training Centre.

St George’s Hospital is a regional cancer centre and its clinical results for breast screening are among the best in London.

If you have been referred to the Breast Symptomatic Service at the Rose Centre, please note that your appointment may consist of a consultation and additional testing if required. Please allow up to four hours from the time of your appointment for these tests.

There is a coffee shop available in the Rose Centre where you can buy food and drink. Water coolers are available throughout the Rose Centre.

A map detailing the location of The Rose Centre within the St George’s site is available here. Please use this map if you are going to the centre for the first time.
