Outpatient HIV services

St George’s delivers HIV services at two sites: The Courtyard Clinic based at St George’s and Suite 5 Queen Mary’s based at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton.
The Clinics provide comprehensive and holistic service for HIV positive people including:
- Daily week day medical and clinical nurse specialist clinics (at St Georges Site)
- Walk in nurse service
- Rapid access service for newly diagnosed patients
- Health advisers to provide support and contact tracing
- Counselling and psychological services
- Co-infection service for people with HIV and hepatitis
- Young Person’s clinic (18-25)
- Pregnancy clinic with specialist midwife support
- Dietician
- On site pharmacy with specialist pharmacist support
- Massage therapy
- Access to specialist in patient care (McEntee Ward)
- Research services
- Advice and access to online sexually transmitted infection screening
- Access to peer support and social support services
We do not offer HIV testing but can provide support when giving positive results.

The Courtyard Clinic is on Perimeter Road on the St George’s Hospital site. Nearest entrances are Ingleby Entrance on Blackshaw Road (pedestrians only) and via Cranmer Terrace off Fountain Road.

If a patient needs to be seen urgently, including new diagnoses, please contact the Clinical Nurse Specialist, Helen Webb on 020 8725 2690 or 020 8672 1255 bleep 6315 (Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00). At weekends or overnight please contact the on-call SpR for Clinical Infection Unit through St George’s Hospital switchboard if advice is needed.
