Dr Orsolya Miskolci

Clinical interests

Orsolya’s main interest includes: echocardiography; she is currently finishing her BSE accreditation. Further special interests are haemodynamic monitoring, long-term outcomes of our patients after critical illness, and education.

Professional profile

Dr Miskolci dual trained as an anaesthetist and intensivist in Hungary, and completed her specialist training in 2013. In 2011 she moved to Ireland for further experience, and worked on the Intensive Care Unit of a large cardio-thoracic, heart-, and lung transplant, spinal surgical and ECMO (extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation) centre for five years. She was the first trainee from Ireland who completed a two-year post CCT ICM fellowship.

She moved to the UK in 2016, worked in Kings College Hospital before becoming a consultant in St Georges Hospital.
