Professional profile

Ms Michelle Swer is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Care Group Lead for Gynaecology.  She is also lead consultant for the Willow and Lavender Antenatal Care teams and works closely with the midwives in providing medical support and advice for women during their antenatal care.

Her interests lie in ambulatory gynaecology specially in ultrasound scanning where she spent two years as a research clinical fellow at University College London.  She also carries out outpatient hysteroscopy for the two week referral pathway.  She is also happy to support women for management of breech births.

Ms Swer is an executive committee member of the British Society of Gynaecological Imaging (BSGI) and member of the British Menopause Society (BMS) and British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE)
