Professional profile

Ana Pinas is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at St George’s since 2014. She qualified in Spain in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2011 prior to coming to London to do a Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital.

She is the Lead for the Abnormally Invasive Placenta (AIP) service and has published several articles in this field. Together with a Multidisciplinary team including Gynaecologists, Anaesthetists, Interventional Radiologists, Urologists and Haematologists they manage these complex surgical cases.

She is the named Consultant for the Topaz and Emerald Teams.

She has publications on CTG interpretation, Prenatal Diagnosis and preeclampsia.
