Mr Kanagasabay's main clinical interest is in adult cardiac.

He also specialises in arterial revascularisation.

Professional profile

Mr Kanagasabay qualified in 1990 from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, and holds MBBS and BSc qualifications. He undertook specialist training at St George's Hospital, Harefield Hospital and The Middlesex Hospital.

Mr Kanagasabay also spent one year training in total arterial revascularisation and off pump surgery in Melbourne, Australia.

He is currently the clinical audit lead for the department of cardiac surgery, and has been a consultant at St George's since 2001.
