Mr Dibyesh Banerjee

Clinical interests

Mr Banerjee is a consultant general surgeon with a specialist interest in breast surgery. His interests include the assessment of breast lumps, oncoplastic breast surgery and breast reconstruction (including corrective surgery and delayed reconstruction).

He also specialises in cosmetic breast surgery including procedures such as correction of breast asymmetry, breast augmentation and breast reduction as well as male breast problems.

Professional profile

Mr Banerjee qualified with an MBBS in 1990 followed by an MS medical degree in 1994.

He is the lead surgeon in the south west London breast screening service and also the clinical lead for the south west London tumour working group.

Mr Banerjee's research interests include wound healing in breast cancer patient scapsular contracture with breast implants and the patient's quality of life post-breast reconstruction.
