Jessica Bailey
Jessica is a Principal Genetic Counsellor at St George’s Hospital with a specialist interest in neurogenetics, general and prenatal genetics. She obtained a degree in Medical Science at Birmingham University in 2007, before obtaining a Masters in Genetic Counselling at Cardiff University in 2010. Jessica worked in the Bristol Clinical Genetics department for four years before joining the genetics team at St George’s Hospital in 2014. She achieved registration with the Genetic Counselling Registration Board (GCRB) in 2014. She works as part of the St George’s Hospital specialist neurogenetics clinic alongside her Consultant colleagues. Jessica also has an interest in the training and mentoring of students within the department, and is a training officer for the STP trainees and has acted as a sign-off mentor for the registration of genetic counsellors.
Her peripheral clinics take place at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton and Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.
