Dr Moss has been a consultant in emergency medicine at St George’s Hospital since 2009. He was first appointed a consultant in 2001 in East London and graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School back in 1993. He was the Clinical Director for Emergency Medicine at St George’s from 2009 to 2018.

Research: Dr Moss is the research link consultant for the Emergency Department (ED) Clinical Research Group. He has an interest in medication management in older people, and organises the department journal club and supervises doctors in training to develop research skills. Phil has been Principal Investigator for several research studies that recruit patients in the ED.

Education: Phil is an experienced educational and clinical supervisor for doctors in training. He is Course Director for the Advanced Trauma Life support Course at St George’s and regularly teaches on the European Trauma Course. Phil is an honorary clinical tutor at St George’s, University of London and supervises students on the Clinical Pharmacology BSc course.
