Professional profile

Dr Dalton qualified from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1995. She won best Platform Presentation at ECTRIMS 2001 and an American Neurological Association Travel Fellowship Award in 2003. She completed her MD on MRI Studies in Multiple Sclerosis in 2005 and her Specialty Certificate Examination in Neurology 2010.

She was a case reviewer on the NCEPOD studies “Chronic Neurodisability, focusing on cerebral palsy” 2018 and “The Inbetweener” (A review of the barriers in transition of young people with chronic health conditions) 2023.

Clinical interests

Dr Dalton is a Consultant Neurologist working full time in neurorehabilitation, spasticity and adult neuro-disability.

She is lead for spasticity and runs multi-disciplinary clinics in Spasticity in conjunction with Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapists.  Their services include Ultrasound EMG guided Botulinum Toxin, Intrathecal Baclofen and Phenol.

Dr Dalton runs a complex disability clinic with Dr Gus (therapy dog) and physiotherapy input form Wandsworth Community Neurorehabilitation team.  She is also responsible for some Level 1 patients receiving inpatient neurorehabilitation at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton.

Dr Dalton is Clinical Governance Lead for Neurorehabilitation.
