Dr Catherine Dalton
Clinical interests
Dr Dalton is a Consultant Neurologist with interests in neurorehabilitation, spasticity and multiple sclerosis.
She is lead for spasticity and runs multi-disciplinary clinics in Spasticity in conjunction with Extended Scope Physiotherapists. Our services include EMG guided Botulinum Toxin, Intrathecal Baclofen and Phenol.
Dr Dalton runs a complex disability clinic with Wandsworth Community Neurorehabilitation team. She is also responsible for some patients receiving inpatient neurorehabilitation at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton.
Dr Dalton is a clinical case note reviewer for the NCEPOD study ‘Chronic Neurodisability, focusing on cerebral palsy’.
Professional profile
Dr Dalton qualified from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1995. She won best Platform Presentation at ECTRIMS 2001 and an American Neurological Association Travel Fellowship Award in 2003. She completed her MD on MRI Studies in Multiple Sclerosis in 2005 and her Specialty Certificate Examination in Neurology 2010.
