Professional profile
Dr Zoumprouli qualified from Crete Medical School. After a comprehensive training in anaesthesia including critical care, she moved to UK in order to specialise in neuroanaesthesia. She has worked in two Neurospecialist centres in UK . She completed a 12 month fellowship in neuroanaesthesia before taking her consultant job at St. George's.
She provides anaesthesia for complex spinal and brain surgery and also cares for patients in Neurointensive Care unit.
She is currently the lead for Neuroanaesthesia at St. George's.
She is also Regional Clinical Lead for Organ Donation for the whole South East region.
She has an interest in clinical research with focus on Spinal cord injury.
