Dr Andrew Clifton
Clinical interests
Dr Clifton is a consultant neuroradiologist at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in an interventional and diagnostic neuroradiology. His research interests include the diagnosis and treatment of ruptured and unruptured intracranial aneurysms and vascular malformations.
He also has a clinical interest in stroke, including extracranial and intracranial stenting, and acute stroke.
Professional profile
Dr Clifton graduated with an MA from Oxford University, before going on to achieve an MBBS in London in 1981.
He is active in the research of stroke, particularly carotid and vertebral stenting.
