Anita is a nurse specialist in the early pregnancy unit at St George's Hospital, specialising in the use of transvaginal ultrasound in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancies and other forms of early pregnancy loss.
Professional profile
Anita qualified from King's College London in 2002 with a BSc Hons and started working at St George's soon after. She has worked at a senior level in acute gynaecology, accident and emergency and genito-urinary medicine. For the last four years, Anita has been a member of the nurse led early pregnancy unit team offering a comprehensive service for women with complications in the early stages of their pregnancy. During this time she has obtained a post-graduate certificate in gynaecology and obstetric ultrasound.
