St George’s launches Foundation Trust consultation
St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust officially launched its Foundation Trust consultation on Wednesday 25th May. Over 120 people attended the evening event including representatives from local patient, community and charity groups.
The plans received the support from Tooting MP, Sadiq Khan, who hoped that St George’s relationship with its local community would be strengthened by becoming a Foundation Trust.
Trust chair, Naaz Coker, said, “As Chair of St George’s I am committed to ensuring that the voices of our patients, public and staff are clearly heard as we work together to develop healthcare services at St George’s.”
