Choose paperless: receive your hospital letters faster with the My Care Patient Portal
We know that many of our patients would prefer to receive communications digitally rather than by paper. As part of our commitment to sustainability and listening to our patients, we can now support you to receive all your hospital communications digitally through the My Care Patient Portal.
Starting November 26, you can opt out of receiving paper letters in favour of convenient, digital updates from within the My Care Patient Portal App.
If you have previously opted into paperless letters, this function will automatically activate on November 26.
Why choose paperless?
- Access your appointments and hospital communications instantly via the portal.
- Help us reduce paper waste and support sustainability efforts as part of our Group Green Plan.
- Your letters are available anytime, anywhere, on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
How does it work?
- Log into the My Care portal and update your settings to opt out of paper letters.
- Once you opt out, all your future appointment and hospital communications will be sent digitally.
- Prefer paper? No problem! You can continue receiving paper letters if you don’t opt out.
Please note, there may be times when you still receive a paper letter as we transition all clinical services across to the new system.
