William Drummond Ward – Hyper Acute Stroke Unit
William Drummond Ward is a Hyper Acute Stroke Unit located on the 3rd Floor of Atkinson Morley Wing in St George’s Hospital, Tooting.
You will be looked after by a team of nurses, therapists and doctors who are highly experienced in caring for patients who have suffered strokes.

William Drummond Ward still has a quiet time from 1-3pm which we advise relatives to adhere to. But we can make exceptions, which are done individually with the nurse in charge at the time.
