There are many training opportunities, modules and fellowships available at St George’s Hospital. Fellowships are advertised by the School of Anaesthesia and awarded following competitive interview.
Our highly acclaimed courses include advanced airway days, transoesophageal echocardiology (TOE) courses (didactic and hands on learning, and live demonstrations) and regional anaesthesia courses (teaching on cadavers and live models).
The St George’s Simulation and Skills Centre (gapssimulation.com) is a facility introduced to enhance multi-professional training in patient management, and incorporates the METI high fidelity adult and paediatric patient simulators.
We have many consultants who are faculty members and medical directors for Immediate Life Support, Paediatric Immediate Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Advanced Paediatric Life Support, European Paediatric Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
We offer a wide range of CPD events. Courses are very well established and delivered by committed faculties.
