About
Tom completed his nurse training in 2018 at the University of Suffolk. Following this his post-registration experience is in Emergency Medicine where he worked for 4 years before starting his role within Paediatric Orthopaedics.
He had joined the Paediatric Orthopaedics team in June 2022.
Tom has been running the post operative wound management clinics and the pre-operative assessment for complex paediatric orthopaedic surgeries. He has setup a teaching program for the ward nurses and has been involved in outcome collection and patient satisfaction audits.
Tom is the clinical point of contact for all patients under the care of the Paediatric Orthopaedic consultants at St George’s and for their satellite patients for the network.
