Deputy General Manager for Neurosciences

Thomas is the General Manager of the Acute Medicine and Senior Health Directorate, primarily based in St George’s Hospital, but with further services in Queen Mary’s Hospital in  Roehampton, St John’s Therapy Centre, Wandsworth & The Nelson Health Centre.

The General Manager for Acute Medicine and Senior Health is responsible for operations, infrastructure, finance, service improvement and performance monitoring and reporting.

The Acute Medicine and Senior Health Directorate reports into the Medicine and Cardiovascular Division.

Thomas was on the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (General Management) working in South West England prior to joining St George’s Hospital. He holds a MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and a PGDip in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Birmingham
