Clinical interests

Miss Roggio is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in microsurgical and complex breast reconstruction, skin cancer surgery, and general reconstructive surgery. She has particular expertise in oncological breast reconstruction and complex wound management, and a strong interest in multidisciplinary care to optimise patient outcomes.

Professional profile

Miss Roggio is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon with specialist training in both Italy and the United Kingdom. She is on the General Medical Council’s specialist register for Plastic Surgery.

She has worked in several leading UK plastic surgery units, including St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns (Chelmsford), St Mary’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, and the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.

She currently serves as teaching lead for junior plastic surgery registrars in the department.

Miss Roggio is actively involved in surgical education and clinical research, and regularly contributes to national and international meetings, with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
