Clinical interests
Interest in acute heart failure care within the inpatient setting both within Cardiothoracics and on an outreach basis. Special interest in cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT) optimisation and transthoracic echocardiography, running an echo lead CRT optimisation clinic.
Currently involved in research involving several heart failure trials including Stand up HF, AFFIRM and IRONMAN.

Involved in the creation and implementation of the Treatment Escalation Plan (TEP) for St George’s Hospital. Special interest in the development of specialist mental health services for heart failure patients.
Professional profile
I have worked in Cardiology since qualifying; firstly on a general cardiology ward then moving to the coronary care unit. I then moved to the Cardiac Investigations department taking on a specialist role where I also completed my accreditation in echocardiography and taking over the tilt service. I have been a heart failure CNS since 2014 working on the inpatient service and running a CRT optimisation clinic as well as other outpatient clinics.
