Heidy completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Flinders University, Australia, a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice with the University of New England, Australia, and a Master of Genetic Counselling with the University of Melbourne, Australia. She has worked as a Genetic Counsellor at St George’s Hospital since 2015 and has a specialist interest in Cardiac and Cancer Genetics and education. She achieved registration with the Genetic Counselling Registration Board (GCRB) in 2018.
