Mr Paolo Umari

Consultant Urological Surgeon

Mr Umari is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a specialist interest in minimally invasive surgery mainly focused on prostate and kidney cancer.

He completed his Urology training in Italy and been fellowship trained in Belgium (OLV hospital/ORSI Academy) and United Kingdom (UCLH – University College London Hospitals), both world-leading centre for minimally-invasive surgery.

Mr Umari has been appointed as Consultant Urologist in 2016 and moved to St. George’s University Hospital in 2021 where he is regularly performing robotic-surgery procedures.

He is actively involved in teaching and training Medical Students and Registrars reviewing and signing off their activities.

He is leading many scientific activities and international trials being the research lead for the pelvic Uro-oncology projects with multiple publications in International peer reviewed journals.
